Here are our new girls, Miniel and Tadiel, named after J.R.R. Tolkein's Sindarin elvish dialect. Miniel means " First Daughter " and Tadiel means"Second Daughter" in Sindarin .My husband and I are absolutely delighted by them.
They are out of Sheltering Pines Meliah, who is a seven year old Shetland ewe that we acquired last year.
Meliah is an excellent mother and a wonderful sheep. We noticed that she had been sold several times but we plan to keep her here. Dor Galen will be her last home.
