Pro Life's REAL Agenda

Pro- Lifers REAL Agenda is to ban all forms of contraception for women in  America.

Think about it, folks!

No way to prevent pregnancy....is that what we want for our daughters, our grand daughters, our sisters, aunts or mothers?

I think women have the right to plan their pregnancies!

Email Me - Thank You | Congressman Todd Rokita

Email Me - Thank You | Congressman Todd Rokita

I just e-mailed my Congressperson Todd Rokita, thanking him for claryfying in letter there should be no abortion in cases of rape.......In case you think that makes me a pro-lifer, you are mistaken.
Anyone who supports the woman carrying to term a pregnancy that results from rape is as evil as the rapist!

I will NOT be voting for Todd Rokita  who supports the continued suffering and humiliation of the rape victim by forcing her by law to carry the pregnancy to term.

The Nazis tested this hypothesis "by selecting women who were about to ovulate and sending them to the gas chambers, only to bring them back after their realistic mock-killing, to see what the effect this had on their ovulatory patterns. An extremely high percentage of these women did not ovulate."

The above quote is from the article that is linked.

Again, I reiterate, what physician would use this to bolster his argument?

I am a registered nurse and find this medically unethical.........

Unbelievable..........

"In a 1972 article, Dr. Fred Mecklenburg argued that pregnancy is unlikely from rape. That article has influenced two generations of anti-abortion activists with the hope to build a medical case to ban all abortions without any exception. The article uses an argument claiming experiments in Nazi death camps had shown women are less likely to ovulate after trauma."[11]

The above is from a Wikipedia article about Todd Akin and the "rape" controversy. Wow! This medical doctor uses "experiments in Nazi death camps" to bolster his arguments! Very professional!
What trauma did these women suffer in these Nazi death camps? Must we speculate, or is the trauma defined within the article? This makes me sick at my stomach that a medical professional would use this to forward his own political views at the expense of these women!

More Food for Political Thought.....

Sorry , Folks....This blog just became political!

I cannot stand by and say nothing while the Republicans try to re-define rape as "legitimate" or "forcible".

Hope.........

and gratitude for the rain we received this morning. If we can only get a weekly rain like this morning, it would go a long way towards breaking this drought. We are expecting a hay delivery sometime this week, so that will be a relief, also......
